Situation

You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00V) with the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) stepping the right foot forward (toward 6:00H), attempting to apply a front two-hand choke to your neck and throat area.

1)
|
Step your right foot forward (toward 12:00H) (gauge) (positioned cover) into a transitory right forward bow (toward 12:00H) with double, thrusting, straight, four-finger pokes (toward 12:00H), palms down (toward 6:00V), to the opponent’s eyes (minor), while keeping the elbows bent slightly at the elbows (right lower arm on the 10:30H – 4:30H line) (left lower arm on the 1:30H – 7:30H line).

Increasing or decreasing the amount of bend at the elbows will create more or less of a wedge effect, respectively, on the opponent’s arms. But, no matter how much or how little bend is utilized the pivot point for the bend should always be at the fingertips.
Your right foot should end up on the between the opponent’s feet (positioned cover), but not beyond the opponent’s right heel.

The opponent’s forward momentum should be halted (opposing forces) with the head being forced back (toward 12:00H) and both arms wedged apart (right on the 1:30H – 7:30H line) (left on the 10:30H – 4:30H line) at the inner forearms, prevented from covering the eyes, by the position of your arms (detaining check).

Without any loss of motion from the previous moves, rotate (counter clockwise H) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a transitory right neutral bow (toward 12:00H) with the rotation of both hands (right counter clockwise V) (left clockwise V) converting the four-finger pokes into double, raking, outward five-finger claws (right toward 3:00H) (left toward 9:00H), fingers inward (right toward 9:00V) (left toward 3:00V), to the opponent’s face area (major), while maintaining your other defenses (positioned cover).

The opponent’s head should remain in its same general spatial position as the hands continue to attempt to cover the face area, but are still prevented from doing so by the position of your arms (detaining checks).

Without any loss of motion from the previous moves, continue to rotate (counter clockwise H) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a right fighting horse (toward 12:00H) while continuing the motion of both clawing hands in opposite outward circular paths (right clockwise V) (left counter clockwise V), perpendicular to your body (right toward 3:00H) (left toward 9:00H). As the left arm continues downward (toward 6:00V), have the left hand grab the opponent’s right forearm area converting the circling motion into a pulling action (toward 6:00H) (toward 7:30V), to aid (opposing forces) the simultaneous actions of the right arm. As the right arm continues downward (toward 6:00V), have the right hand force the opponent’s left arm down (toward 6:00V) to their side (toward 6:00V). At the bottom of the circular path (at 6:00V), switch (orbital switch) the downward circular path of the right arm into an upward circular path delivering a right upward (toward 12:00H) (toward 12:00V) elbow to the opponent’s chin area (major).

Result

The opponent’s upper body should pulled forward (toward 6:00H) and down (toward 7:30V) by your left arm, bending at the waist (toward 6:00H), but halted by the strike of your right arm.

|
Rotate (clockwise H) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a right neutral bow (toward 12:00H) with a right downward heel-palm claw (toward 6:00V) to the opponent’s face area (major), palm forward (toward 12:00H) and fingers upward (toward 12:00V), while maintaining the grab to the opponent’s right arm (detaining check).

Result
|
The opponent should collapse (toward 6:00V) to the ground with the left arm beginning to attempt to cover the face area, but the right hand still prevented from doing so by your right hand.

|
Retract (toward 7:30V) (toward 6:00H) your right arm to a vertical blocking position (positioned cover) with the retraction (toward 12:00V) of your left hand to your right solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 12:00H), while maintaining your other defenses (positioned cover). Cross out and cover (toward 7:30H).
