Situation
You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with your arms at your side (toward 6:00V), while the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) executes a front bear hug, arms free, to your upper abdomen.
Note: The opponent’s head (facing 3:00H) should be tucked to your right shoulder to prevent you from head butting their opponent face.
1)
Step back (toward 6:00H) with your right foot into a left transitory forward bow (toward 12:00H) (stable base) with the raise (toward 12:00V) (counter clockwise V) of your left stiff-arm fist, palm away from you (toward 12:00H), to shoulder height, in preparation for the next move. Immediately, shift (clockwise H) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a left neutral bow with a left inverted vertical straight back-knuckle strike (toward 6:00H) to the opponent’s left temple (minor) (reverse back-up mass line).
Note
The initial step back should be done such that your upper body does not create any more distance from the opponent, than prior to the step. So as to not alert the opponent to your next move.
The backward momentum and settle should enhance the force of the back-knuckle strike.
Result
The opponent’s bear hug should be loosened as the hands begin to attempt to cover the temple area.
2)
Immediately, execute a left hand hair grab to the top of opponent’s head, palm down (toward 6:00V), as you lift (toward 12:00V) your right half-fist to your right shoulder (positioned cock), palm up (toward 12:00V), in preparation for the next move. Immediately, settle (toward 6:00V) further into a left neutral bow (toward 12:00H) as you peel the opponent’s head back (toward 12:00H) and down (toward 4:30V) (counter clockwise V), simultaneously with the drop (toward 6:00V) (anchor) of your left elbow onto the opponent’s back.
Note
The peel of the opponent’s head away from your right shoulder should be executed such that your left elbow is used as the pivot point, with your left elbow braced by the downward pressure being exerted onto the opponent’s back.
Result
The opponent’s body should be forced down (toward 6:00V) possibly smashing the opponent’s groin onto your left knee, as your left hand forces the opponent’s head back (toward 12:00H) exposing the opponent’s neck area.
3)
Shift forward (toward 12:00H) (counter clockwise H) into a left forward bow (toward 12:00H) with a right snapping half-knuckle strike (toward 12:00H), palm down (toward 6:00V) to the opponent’s throat area (major).
Result
The opponent’s throat should collapse causing the opponent to gag, while you maintain control over your opponent, preventing any significant reaction.
4)
Shift back (toward 6:00H) (clockwise H) into a left neutral bow (toward 12:00H) with the retraction of your right striking hand (toward 6:00H), converting it to an open hand during the retraction, to your left solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 12:00H).
Result
The opponent should collapse to the ground (toward 6:00V) onto their knees.
5)
Release your left hand hair grab to the opponent’s head and immediately cross out and cover (toward 4:30H).
Result
The opponent should continue to collapse to the ground (toward 12:00V), face up (toward 12:00V).
