Situation
You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00V), while the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) executes a right step through (toward 6:00H) with a right straight thrust punch (toward 6:00H) to your face area.
1)
Step forward (toward 11:00H) with your left foot into a left neutral bow (toward 12:00H) (stable base) with a left thrusting inward block (toward 1:30H) to outside of the opponent's right punching arm (meet the punch), while allowing your right arm to remain at your right side (obscure).
Note
Your left foot should end up on the outside of the opponent’s right foot (positioned cover), but not beyond the opponent’s right heel.
2)
Shift forward (counter clockwise H) (toward 12:00H) into a left forward bow with a right thrusting inward diagonal inner wrist strike (toward 9:00V) (toward 12:00H) to the opponent's left neck area (major) (fit), while maintaining the vertical blocking position of your left arm (pressing check) against the outside of the opponent's right arm.
Note
Your left arm should maintain contact with the opponent’s arm at or above the elbow.
Your right hand should track up the opponent’s body as close as possible and curve (counter clockwise V) toward the target (angle of incidence) at the last possible moment (obscure).
Note
The right hooking hand should use your right wrist as the pivot point.
Result
The opponent's head and upper body should begin to bend slightly (toward 9:00H) with both hands beginning to attempt to cover the neck area.
3)
Right step through forward (toward 1:00H), immediately behind the opponent’s right foot, into a right transitory 90 degree cat (facing 12:00H) with the shift (toward 1:00H) of your left hand up the opponent’s right arm (toward 10:30V) to grab your own right wrist, palm down (toward 6:00V), in preparation for the next move. Immediately, stomp your right heel (toward 6:00V) to the ground into a right neutral bow (toward 12:00H) causing a buckle to the opponent’s right leg with your right leg, while simultaneously delivering a right downward diagonal (toward 7:30V) (toward 9:00H) anchoring elbow strike to the opponent’s sternum area (minor).
Result
The opponent’s head should be thrust to your left (toward 9:00H) and downward (toward 7:30V).
Note
The right elbow strike should use the hand and wrist as the pivot point.
Result
The opponent's upper body should be forced back (toward 9:00H) and down (toward 7:30V), while the lower body should be simultaneously forced forward (toward 3:00H) and down (toward 4:30V), causing their stance to be greatly de-stabilized and begin to collapse to the ground.
4)
Without any loss of motion from the previous moves, control the opponent’s collapse by executing a left and right scissoring choke to both sides of the opponent’s neck area (sleeper hold), while maintaining your other defenses (positioned cover).
Note
Your right inner-wrist should be against the opponent’s left side-of-neck and your left outer-wrist should be against the opponent’s right side-of-neck.
Result
The opponent's rate of collapse (toward 6:00V) should be controlled or greatly delayed by the neck choke with the neck choke also causing the opponent to lose consciousness.
5)
Step your left foot (toward 5:00H) into a transitory right front twist (facing 10:30H), in preparation for the next move. Immediately, rotate (counter clockwise H) into a left forward bow (toward 6:00H) with the downward throw (toward 6:00V) (toward 6:00H) of the opponent’s upper body to the ground (minor) onto their left side, face to your right (toward 9:00H), while simultaneously causing the opponent’s lower body to buckle up (toward 12:00V) and over your right stiff leg. As the opponent collapses to the ground, allow your left hand to track down the opponent’s right arm, grabbing it at the wrist, palm downward (toward 6:00V), while simultaneously retracting your right fist to your right side (toward 1:30V), palm toward you (toward 3:00H), in preparation for the next move.
Result
The opponent’s body should hit the ground (body on the 6:00H – 12:00H line) on their left side and begin to bounce upward (toward 12:00V), slightly.
6a)
Immediately, deliver a right downward (toward 6:00V) (toward 6:00H) knee stomp to the opponent’s right ribcage area (major) (gravitational marriage), while maintaining your left grab to the opponent’s right wrist.
Note
The timing of your right knee should coincide with the bounce of the opponent’s body, to create the maximum impact (borrowed force).
Optional
Your left hand grab might be needed to create an opening for the knee by lifting (toward 12:00V) the opponent’s right arm.
Result
The opponent’s upper body should bend upward (toward 1:30V), toward you, with the right arm attempting to cover the right ribcage area, but controlled (not prevented) by the left hand grab to the right wrist (detaining check).
6b)
Immediately deliver a thrusting right downward (toward 6:00V) (toward 6:00H) vertical punch to the opponent’s right side of face (major) (gravitational marriage), while maintaining your left grab to the opponent’s right wrist.
Note
The timing of your punch should coincide with the bending of the opponent’s body, to create the maximum impact (borrowed force).
Result
The opponent’s upper body and head should force back to the ground (toward 6:00V).
7)
Shift back (toward 12:00H) (toward 1:30V) into a left neutral bow (toward 6:00H) with the retraction (toward 12:00H) (toward 1:30V) of your left arm to a vertical blocking position (positioned cover), while simultaneously retracting (toward 12:00H) (toward 1:30V) your right open hand to your left solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 6:00H). Cross out and cover (toward 1:00H).
