Situation:
You are in a natural stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00V), while the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) applies a direct left hand grab (toward 6:00H) to your right lapel area.
1a)
Step back (toward 6:00H) with your left foot into a right transitory forward bow (toward 12:00) (stable base) with the raise of your left hand (toward 1:30V) to pin, palm toward you (toward 4:30V), the opponent’s left hand to your body, in preparation for the next move.
Note:
The above step with your left foot should be executed with the intention of not changing distance between you and your opponent, so as to minimize telegraphing your next move.
1b)
Immediately, settle (counter clockwise H) into a right neutral bow (toward 12:00H) with a right thrusting upward horizontal forearm strike (toward 12:00V) to the underside of the opponent's left upper elbow (major).
Note:
The right upward horizontal forearm strike should be executed exactly like an upward block, except to the middle height zone.
Note:
The opponent’s left arm might fracture at the elbow (toward 12:00V), depending upon the amount of force you apply. If this happens, do not continue with the rest of the technique or you will impale you arm on the broken bone.
Result:
The opponent's entire body should be lifted upward (toward 12:00V), possibly onto the tiptoes, and turn (clockwise H) slightly with the left arm hyper-extended at the elbow (opposing forces), while the right hand attempts to cover the elbow area.
2)
Circle your right arm (counter clockwise V) from underneath of the opponent’s left arm, ending with your right arm vertically positioned (toward 12:00V) (positioned cock) in front of your right shoulder, palm forward (toward 12:00H), in preparation for the next move. Without any loss of motion, deliver a right hammering inside-downward diagonal forearm strike (toward 7:30V) to the top of the opponent’s left upper forearm (minor) (frictional pull), while simultaneously releasing the pin to the opponent’s left hand and shifting (toward 6:00V) your left open hand to your right solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 12:00H).
Result:
The opponent's upper body should be pulled forward (toward 7:30H) and rotate (clockwise H) to your left (toward 7:30V) with the left arm pulled past the left side of your body (toward 7:30H) by the force of the strike.
3)
Immediately, reverse the motion of your right arm to deliver a right thrusting outward and upward diagonal hand-sword strike (toward 1:30V) (toward 1:30H) to the opponent’s left side of neck (major), while maintaining your other defenses (positioned cover).
Note:
This strike is delivered so that right elbow ends up higher than your striking hand, when completed (elbow not anchored).
Result:
The opponent's head and upper body should be thrust back (toward 1:30H) and collapse to the ground (toward 1:30H), face up (toward 12:00V).
4)
Retract your right arm (toward 4:30V) to a vertical blocking position (positioned cover), while maintaining your other defenses (positioned cover).
Cross out and cover (toward 7:30H).
