Situation
You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with your right arm at your side (toward 6:00V), while the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) executes a right hand direct wrist grab (toward 6:00H), palm to the right (toward 3:00H), to your left wrist, palm down (toward 6:00V).
1a)
Circle (clockwise V) your left arm (using your elbow as the pivot point), until your fingers point upward (toward 12:00V), palm facing to your right (toward 3:00H), while simultaneously circling (clockwise V) your right arm (using your elbow as the pivot point), until your fingers point upward (toward 12:00V), palm facing toward your right (toward 3:00H), pinning the opponent’s right hand between your two hands, in preparation for the next move.
Tip
The circles of the above moves should be kept as small as possible, not allowing your left hand to rise higher than your mid-chest area.
Anchoring your left elbow during the execution of the above moves will allow you to generate more force for the rotation of your left arm, if the opponent resists.
1b)
Step backward (toward 6:00H) with your right foot into a transitory left neutral bow (facing 12:00H) (stable base) with the rotation (clockwise H) of your left elbow (using your left hand as the pivot point) to press against the outside of the opponent’s left elbow (toward 3:00H), while maintaining the pin to the opponent’s right hand, palm to your right (toward 3:00H).
Note
Your pinning hand should be kept close to your body, so as to not leave a gap between you and your opponent’s right hand (third hand).
Result
The opponent’s right arm should be extended toward you (toward 6:00H) with the right elbow locked out by the pressure of your left elbow.
1c)
Without any loss of motion, continue to shift (clockwise H) into a left reverse bow (facing 12:00H), while also continuing to increase the applied pressure to the opponent’s right elbow (lock/break) (toward 3:00H), and maintaining the pin of the opponent’s right hand.
Result
The opponent should begin to step forward (toward 6:00H) in order to try to relieve the pressure being applied to their right elbow.
1d)
Immediately, reverse the shift of your stance (counter clockwise H), back into a left neutral bow (facing 12:00H), with a left, thrusting, outward elbow (toward 12:00H), palm down (toward 6:00V), to the opponent’s right floating ribs (minor), while simultaneously grabbing the opponent’s right wrist, palm to your right (3:00H), and pulling the opponent’s right arm (toward 6:00H) (opposing forces).
Note
The above moves should be executed as to take advantage of the opponent’s forward momentum from the previous moves (borrowed force).
Result
The opponent's forward momentum should be halted (by the force of the elbow), while their body should begin to arch slightly away from the strike (toward 12:00H), while the opponent's right arm is prevented from covering the rib area by your grab.
2)
Immediately release the grab to the opponent’s right wrist, in preparation for the next moves. Continue your rotation forward (toward 12:00H) into a right forward bow (facing 12:00H), while simultaneously executing a downward (toward 7:30V) and forward (toward 12:00H) frictional push with the palm of your right hand, palm down (toward 6:00V) to the top of the opponent’s right forearm. Without any loss of motion, continue the forward momentum of your right hand into a right, thrusting, four finger eye poke (toward 12:00H) to the opponent’s eyes (minor), palm down (toward 6:00V). All during the execution of the above moves, your left arm should maintain its same relative position as is was in when it completed the outward elbow.
Note
The above moves should be timed such that your rotation forward finishes at the same time as execution of the eye poke is completed.
The path of your right hand should follow a downward (during the frictional push) and then upward (during the eye poke) arc toward the opponent.
Result
The opponent’s head and upper body should be thrust backward (toward 12:00H) in reaction to the eye poke, shifting the majority of their weight (toward 12:00H) onto their rear (left) leg.
3a)
Deliver a left, front, cross over sweep (toward 4:30H) to the opponent’s right ankle (destabilize base), while simultaneously retracting (toward 6:00H) your right hand, palm forward (toward 12:00H) and fingers upward (toward 12:00V), to your left upper shoulder area (positional cover), while also maintaining the same relative position of your left arm (positional cover).
Result
The opponent’s right leg and body should be pulled forward (toward 4:30H), while they struggle to maintain their balance.
3b)
Immediately, rotate (clockwise H) your entire body, while delivering a left, stiff leg sweep (3600) to the back of the opponent’s right leg, allowing your leg to pass through the opponent’s right leg, ending into a left front twist (facing 1:30H). During the sweep allow your arms and hands to reposition as need to maintain balance, but also maintain positional covers, while ending in standard positional covers for a left front twist (left high – right low).
Tip
To generate more power to the sweep, unwind your stance (body) first, and then allow your left leg to deliver the sweep, near the end of the unwinding sequence.
Note
This second sweep should be timed as to take advantage of the opponent trying to re-stabilize their base, by placing weight back onto their right foot.
Result
The opponent’s stance should be fully destabilized, forcing them to drop (toward 6:00V) to the floor in a sitting position with both hands on the floor, palms down (toward 6:00V), in an attempt to prevent them self from falling further into a laying position – while their right leg is fully extended (toward 4:30H).
4)
Deliver a right downward (toward 7:30V) roundhouse kick (toward 1:30H) to the opponent’s upper chest area (major).
Result
The opponent’s upper body should be forced backward (toward 10:30H) and down (toward 6:00V) into a laying position (10:30H – 4:30H).
5)
Without replanting your right leg from the previous move, right cross out and cover (toward 7:30H).
