Step backward (toward 6:00H) with your left foot into a right transitory 45 degree cat (facing 12:00H) (distance gauge) with a left inward parry (toward 12:00H) to outside of the opponent's right arm, while simultaneously delivering a right inward middle-knuckle strike (toward 12:00H) (counter clockwise H) (minor) to the opponent’s right rib or sternum area, palm facing to the left (toward 9:00H).

Result
|
The opponent’s right punch should be allowed to pass to the right of your head, while their forward momentum is stopped by the reaction to the middle-knuckle strike.

|
Reverse the path of the previous strike (elastic recoil), delivering a right thrusting outward hand-sword strike (toward 12:00H) to the opponent’s right ribs (minor), palm down (toward 6:00V), while using the contact with the outside of the opponent’s to apply pressure (toward 12:00H), detaining any significant movement of the opponent’s right arm.

The opponent’s body should arch backward (toward 12:00H), while their right arm attempts to cover the rib area, but is prevented by the pressure applied to the opponent’s right elbow area.

Without any loss of motion, step forward into right neutral bow (toward 12:00H) with a right inward elbow strike (minor) (toward 11:00H) to the opponent’s sternum, palm down (toward 6:00V), while continuing to apply pressure (toward 12:00H) to the outside of the opponent’s right arm.

Immediately, execute a right front scoop kick (minor) (toward 1:30V) (toward 5:00H) to the opponent’s groin area, while continuing to apply pressure (toward 12:00H) to the outside of the opponent’s right arm. Simultaneously, open your left hand, converting your right arm and hand into a right cover, palm down (toward 6:00V).

The backward momentum of the opponent’s body should be stopped by the opposite force of the scoop kick, while the opponent’s right arm is still prevented from any significant movement by the pressure or your left hand.
