Situation
You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00V) with the opponent (at 6:00H) (facing 12:00H) applying a rear two hand choke to your neck and throat area.
1)
Lift (toward 12:00V) both your right and left hands to their respective shoulders, palm down (toward 6:00V) and fingers toward the neck (toward 9:00H and 3:00H respectively), grabbing both of the opponent’s hands, with your hands perpendicular to the opponent’s hands and the pinkies of your hands touching the top thumb joint of the opponent’s hands and your elbows pointing straight in front of you (toward 12:00H), pinning the opponent’s hands to your shoulders (toward 6:00V). Without any loss of motion, step your left foot to the left (toward 9:00H) into a horse (facing 12:00H) as you pull the opponent’s hands slightly forward (toward 12:00H) and diagonally down (toward 4:30V), using your elbows as the fulcrum and the hands as the pivot point, creating double thumb locks (toward 4:30V) (toward 12:00H) to the opponent’s thumb joints (minor).
Note
Anchoring your elbows, forward (toward 12:00H) and down (toward 6:00V), to different heights will vary the amount of pressure applied to the opponent’s thumb joints.
As you apply pressure to the opponent’s thumbs, you may also need to press the opponent’s hands toward your neck slightly (toward 9:00H and toward 3:00H, respectively) to prevent their hands from slipping off of your neck (toward 12:00H), in front of your body.
Result
The pressure of the opponent’s choke should be relieved and the opponent should be forced onto the tips of their toes (toward 12:00V) in and attempt to relieve the pressure from their thumb joints.
2a)
Immediately, execute a right step-through forward (toward 10:30H) into a left forward bow (toward 4:30H) as you maintain the grab to the opponent’s hands, but allow their hands to come free of your shoulders and rotate (counter clockwise V), right palm to your left (toward 3:00V) – left palm down (toward 6:00V), in front of your body (waist high), in preparation for the next move.
Note
The rotation of your stance should cause the opponent’s grab to be broken, not any motion of your hands.
Result
The opponent’s grab should be completely broken with the opponent’s upper body bending slightly to the left (toward 10:30H) and forward (toward 1:30V), at the waist, with the left elbow directly on top of the right elbow (left arm toward 12:00H – right arm toward 9:00H) forming an open ended triangle in front of your body (fallen cross).
2b)
Immediately, deliver a right thrusting front ball kick (toward 4:30H) to the opponent’s lower abdomen area (major) simultaneously with the downward diagonal (toward 10:30H) (toward 4:30V) pull of both the opponent’s arms (opposing forces) into your right shin area, breaking both the opponent’s elbow joints (major) across your shin.
Note
The delivery of the front kick can be modified slightly as to allow the elbows to be broken across your shin, but not to the point of detracting from the power of the front kick to the abdomen.
Result
The opponent’s upper body should be pulled diagonally downward and to your right (toward 10:30H) (toward 4:30V), bending at the waist, with the lower body being thrust backward (toward 4:30H), but prevented from moving substantially by the grab to both the opponent’s arms.
3)
Release the grabs to the opponent’s wrists as you begin to plant (gauge) your right foot forward (toward 4:30H) into a right neutral bow (toward 4:30H). Settle (toward 6:00V) (stabile base) into the right neutral bow (toward 4:30H) with a right inward (toward 4:30H) (toward 3:00V) elbow strike to the opponent’s face area (major), while simultaneously shifting your left hand forward (toward 4:30H) (toward 2:00V) onto the top of the opponent’s elbows (pressing check), palm down (toward 6:00) and finger to your right (toward 6:00H).
Result
The opponent’s entire body should be forced backward (toward 4:30H), with both hands attempting to cover the face area, but prevented from doing so by the position of your left hand (pressing check).
4)
Retract your right arm (toward 10:30H) into a right vertical blocking position (positioned cover) with the retraction of your left hand (toward 10:30H) to your right solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 4:30H).
Result
The opponent should completely collapse (toward 6:00V) to the ground (body on the 10:30H – 4:30H line), face down (toward 12:00H).
5)
Cross out and cover (toward 10:30H).
