Situation
You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with your arms at your side (toward 6:00V) with the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) executing a right step through (toward 6:00H) overhead (toward 6:00V) (toward 6:00H) club attack to the top of your head area.
1)
Step your left foot to your left (toward 9:00H) into a transitory horse (facing 12:00H) (stable base) with a left inward parry (toward 12:00H) to the outside of the opponent’s right arm. Without any loss of motion, step your right foot to your left (toward 9:00H) into a transitory left front twist (facing 1:30H) with a right extended outward block (toward 3:00H), ending the block with a right wrist grab, palm away from you (toward 1:30H), to the outside of the opponent’s right wrist area, in preparation for the next move. Immediately, deliver a right thrusting roundhouse kick (toward 1:30H) to the opponent’s groin area (minor).
Note
The left parry, right extended outward block combination should be executed in a horizontal figure 8 pattern.
Result
The opponent’s upper body should bend forward (toward 4:30H) at the waist with the left hand attempting to cover the groin area, but the right being prevented from doing so by the grab of your right hand.
2)
Replant your right foot (toward 1:30H) to the inside of the opponent’s right leg (gauge) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a right neutral bow, pressing your right knee against the opponent’s right knee (pressing check) with a left thrusting uppercut punch (toward 10:30H) (toward 1:30V) to the opponent’s right floating rib area (minor).
Note
The press of your right knee could cause the opponent’s knee to either bend straight back (toward 10:30H), locking the leg straight, or buckle the knee inward (toward 1:30H).
Result
The opponent’s body should bend sideways (toward 7:30H) at the waist with the left hand attempting to cover the right ribcage area, while the right is still prevented from doing so by the grab of your right hand.
3)
Circle (clockwise V) your left punching hand converting it into a left grab to the opponent’s lower ribcage area, palm away from you (toward 1:30), in preparation for the next move. Immediately, deliver a left thrusting upward (toward 1:30V) knee kick (toward 1:30H) to the outside back of the opponent’s right upper thigh area (minor) with the pull (toward 7:30H) (toward 7:30V) of your left grabbing hand (opposing forces).
Result
The opponent’s body should be prevented from moving very much by the grabs from both your left and right hands.
4)
Replant (toward 7:30H) your left foot to approximately its original position (gauge) with the retraction of your left hand to your right solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 1:30H), followed immediately with a right upward diagonal (toward 10:30V) knee kick (toward 10:30H) to the outside of the opponent’s right upper thigh area (major) simultaneously with the downward diagonal (toward 4:30V) pull (toward 4:30H) of your right hand to your right hip (opposing forces), palm down (toward 6:00V).
Result
The opponent should collapse to the right knee, but should be prevented from totally collapsing by the grab of your right hand.
5)
Replant your right foot (toward 7:30H) into a right front cross over position with the retraction (toward 7:30H) of your right arm to a vertical blocking position (toward 1:30H) (positioned cover), continuing into a cross out and cover (toward 7:30H).
Result
The opponent should collapse to the ground (toward 6:00V) (body on the 1:30H-7:30H line), face down (toward 6:00V).
