Raise your right hand upward (toward 12:00V) grabbing the opponent's right middle forearm, palm facing you (toward 6:00H), with the pin of you right arm and elbow vertically (12:00V-6:00V line) against the center of your body (anchor).

The pin of your right arm will aid in strengthening the leverage against your opponent applying pressure to your throat with their forearm.

Simultaneously, turn your head (counter-clockwise H) to your left shoulder (toward 9:00H) until you chin tucks between your shoulder and the opponent's forearm.

The tuck of your chin will also aid in preventing the opponent's forearm applying pressure to your throat.

1c)
|
Immediately, step to your right (toward 3:00H) with your right foot to a horse (facing 12:00H) (stable base) with a left back thrusting elbow strike (toward 6:00H) to the opponent's sternum (minor).

Result
|
The choke from the opponent's forearm should be alieviated, while the opponent's middle abdomen should be thrust slightly back (toward 6:00H), but prevented from moving very much by their right arm being wrapped around your neck.

Using your elbow as the pivot point, execute a left back hammering hammer-fist strike (toward 6:00H) (clockwise V) to the opponent's groin (major).

Result
|
The opponent’s lower body should begin to bend backward (toward 6:00H), while the left hand begins to attempt to cover the groin area and the right arem is still prevented from moving by your right pinning hand.

Step backward, with your left foot (toward 6:30H), into a right wide kneel (toward 12:00H) (stable base), dropping your left knee onto the outside back of the opponent's right knee (pressing check) with a left hammering inside downward diagonal (toward 12:00H) (toward 4:30V) hammer-fist strike to the opponent’s right kidney (minor), simultaneously with a right thrusting inside upward diagonal (toward 6:00H) (toward 10:30V) hammer-fist strike to the opponent’s groin (minor) (sandwich).

The force of the left hammer-fist strike should be enhanced by the drop into your right wide kneel.

Track your left hand, palm down (toward 6:00V), up the opponent’s back, over the opponent’s head, and down the opponent’s face, where you execute a left two-finger hook (utilizing the middle and index fingers) to the opponent’s philtrum (the area just under the opponent’s nose), while your left elbow remains resting on the opponent’s spin. The peel of the opponent’s head backward should be executed such that your left elbow is used as the fulcrum point, with your left elbow braced by the pressure being exerted onto the opponent’s back.

The opponent’s upper body should be thrust backward (toward 6:00H), with the choke completely broken.

As the opponent’s body is thrust backward (toward 6:00H), change the shape of your left hand into the “shape of the crane” (toward 9:00H), palm down (toward 6:00V), with your left elbow remaining anchored (toward 6:00V), while maintaining your other defenses (positioned cover).
