Situation
Your are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00H), while the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) applies double-handed choke to your throat.
Optional
The opponent could be using the choke to pull you toward them (toward 12:00H).
1)
Step forward (toward 12:00H) into a right neutral bow (toward 12:00H) while simultaneously delivering a right, thrusting, inverted punch, palm up (toward 12:00V), to the opponent’s groin area (major), with a left high, thrusting, straight punch, palm down (toward 6:00V), to the opponent’s face area (major).
Note
The punches should be timed with the step forward in order to maximum their effectiveness (confluence of forces).
Result
The opponent’s entire body should be forced slightly backward (toward 12:00V), while their hands begin to let go and /or loosen the choke.
Tip
If the opponent is pulling (toward 12:00H), the step forward and punches should be timed to take advantage of the pull (borrowed force).
2a)
Shift your right foot toward your right (toward 3:00H) into a wide right neutral bow (facing 10:30H) with a left horizontal downward forearm strike (toward 6:00V), palm facing you (toward 5:30H) to the top of the opponent’s right forearm area (minor), while simultaneously delivering a right inside vertical forearm strike (toward 10:30H) to the opponent’s left forearm area (minor), in preparation for the next move.
Note
The shift of your right foot should place your body on a 130H / 7:30H line, while you continue to face and maintain your attention to the opponent (at 12:00H).
Result
The opponent’s grab should be broken, with the left arm slightly higher (toward 12:00V) than the right arm.
2b)
Without any loss of motion, deliver a left outward vertical forearm strike (toward 10:30H), palm facing you (toward 5:30H), to the outside of the opponent’s left forearm (minor), while simultaneously retracting (toward 4:30H) your right arm to a chambered position, palm up (toward 12:00V), in preparation for the next move.
Result
The opponent’s left arm should be forced to the left (toward 10:30H), effectively checking off the opponent’s counter clockwise width rotation ability.
Note
The left vertical outward forearm should be delivered at or above the opponent’s left elbow area.
2c)
Shift clockwise (toward 1:30H) into a right wide forward bow (facing 10:30H) with a left, thrusting, straight four finger poke, palm down (toward 6:00V) to the opponent’s eyes (minor).
Note
The shift of your stance should keep you on the 130H / 7:30H line but, effectively placing you in a forward bow position toward 1:30H.
Result
The opponent should begin to cover their face with both of their hands.
3)
Rotate (counter clockwise) into a horse (facing 10:30H) with a grab to the opponent’s left wrist, palm down (toward 6:00V), and retraction to a left chambered position, palm down (toward 6:00V), while simultaneously delivering a right, thrusting straight punch to the opponent’s left floating rib area (major), palm down (toward 6:00V).
Result
The opponent’s body should be pulled forward (toward 5:30H) into and intensifying the right punch (opposing forces), while their right hand begins to cover their rib area.
4)
Step backward (toward 4:30H) with your left foot into a right neutral bow (facing 10:30H), while releasing the grab to the opponent’s left wrist (positioned cover) and simultaneously retracting (toward (4:30H) your right arm to a right vertical blocking position (positioned cover). Immediately, cross out and cover (toward 4:30H).
