Situation
You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00V), while the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) executes a right step through (toward 6:00H) with a right straight thrust punch (toward 6:00H) to your face area.
Note
The opponent’s punch is deeper than a normal punch, accompanied with a deep step toward you (toward 6:00H).
1a)
Step backward (toward 6:00H) with your right foot into a transitory left neutral bow (facing 12:00H) (stable base) with a right outward parry (toward 5:30H), palm away from you (toward 3:00H), to outside of the opponent's right punching arm (at the wrist – to lower forearm depth), while allowing your left arm to remain at your right side. Immediately upon finishing the parry, convert the parry into a grab, palm away from you (toward 3:00H), to the opponent’s right wrist.
Note
The opponent’s right step should place their right foot on the inside and beyond the depth (toward 6:00H) of your left foot.
Your outward parry should be executed very close to your body, with your right elbow anchored (toward 6:00V).
1b)
Without any loss of motion, rotate (clockwise H) and drop (toward 4:30V) your stance into a left wide kneel (facing 5:30H), buckling the opponent’s right knee with your left knee, while simultaneously executing a left thrusting, inward heel-palm (toward 4:30H), palm away from you (toward 4:30H), to the back of the opponent’s left elbow (minor).
Tip
You should try to capitalize on the opponent’s forward momentum as much as possible (borrowed force) to help you both buckle them and guide them to the ground.
Result
The opponent’s right knee should be forced to the ground (toward 6:00V) by your buckle, while their upper body is controlled by your right grab and left heel of palm, with the net result being that the opponent ends in a right vertical kneeling position (facing 6:00H), with their right arm extended (toward 5:30H).
2)
Rotate (counter clockwise H) forward into a right forward bow (facing 12:00H) with a push drag forward (toward 12:00H), while simultaneously executing a left outward back-knuckle (toward 12:00H), palm facing backward (toward 6:00H), to the opponent’s ribs (minor) with a right, thrusting, inward, heel-palm claw (toward 12:00H), palm facing forward (toward 12:00H), to the opponent’s face (minor) – allowing both strikes to pass through their targets after making contact.
Tip
Utilize the forward momentum (back-up mass) of your push-drag to enhance the effectiveness of your strikes.
Result
The opponent’s body should begin to be thrust backward (toward 12:00H), with both hands beginning to be raised to cover their face, their ribs, or both.
3)
Without any loss of momentum, reverse the rotation of your previous move (clockwise H), back into a left close kneel (facing 5:30H) with a right outward back-knuckle (toward 5:30H), palm facing you (toward 1:00H), to the opponent’s right kidney (major), simultaneously with a left thrusting vertical punch (toward 5:30H) to the back of the opponent’s neck (major).
Result
The opponent’s body motion should be halted and reversed, to be forced forward (toward 5:30H) and down (toward 4:30V), beginning to collapse forward (toward 5:30H) onto both hands (facing 5:30H).
4a)
Allow your left hand to slip past the opponent’s head to rotate (clockwise V), palm away from you (toward 1:30H), and grab the opponent’s face, while maintaining your right arm in its final position (positional cover) at the opponent’s right kidney. Immediately, pull the opponent’s head and upper body backward (toward 10:30H) and toward your left side (toward 12:00H).
Tip
If necessary, use your right hand against the opponent’s lower back to help create a fulcrum around your right arm.
Result
The opponent’s forward momentum should be halted and reversed, placing them back into a vertical kneeling position (facing 5:30H).
4b)
Continuing with the previous maneuver, execute a left thrusting knee (toward 5:30H) to the opponent’s center spine area (minor) (opposing forces), while simultaneously raising (toward 1:30V) your right hand to your right shoulder, palm forward (toward 5:30H), in preparation for the next move.
Result
The opponent’s back should be forced to arch backward (exposing their sternum area), with their head and backward momentum halted by the force of the knee.
4c)
Replant your left foot (toward 1:30H) into a transitory right forward bow (facing 5:30H). Immediately, rotate (counter clockwise H) and settle (toward 6:00V) into a left close kneel (facing 1:30H) with a right, hammering inside, downward hammer-fist to the opponent’s sternum (major), palm facing you (toward 1:30H), while maintaining your other defenses (positional cover).
Result
The opponent should be forced to collapse to the floor (toward 1:30H) (toward 6:00V), face up (toward 12:00H), and bent at the knees.
5)
Rotate (clockwise H) into a left neutral bow (facing 1:30H) with the retraction your left arm (toward 2:00V) to left vertical blocking position while simultaneously shifting your right open hand (toward 7:30V) to your left solar plexus, palm forward (toward 1:30H). Cross-out and cover (toward 5:30H).
