Situation
You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00H), while the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) executes a right round-house (counter clockwise H) club attack (toward 4:30H) to your right side of head, while stepping forward (toward 6:00H) with their right foot.
1)
Step forward with your right foot (toward 12:00H) into a right neutral bow (toward 12:00H) (positioned cover) (stable base) with an uppercase left thrusting extended outward block (toward (10:30H), hand open and palm forward (toward 1:30H), to the inside of the opponent’s lower forearm area, simultaneous with an uppercase right thrusting inward block, hand open and palm facing back (toward 7:30H), to the inside of the opponent’s right bicep area. Immediately upon making contact with the opponent’s right arm, hook your right hand into a shape of the crane, palm down (toward 6:00V) and fingers away from you (toward 10:30H), over the top of the opponent’s right arm, jerking your right hand slightly forward (toward 4:30H) with a press forward (toward 10:30H) with your left hand (opposing forces), causing the opponent’s right elbow to hyper-extend (minor) and lock out. Immediately, deliver a right snapping (flapping) upward (toward 12:00V) diagonal (toward 10:30V) elbow strike to the bottom of the opponent’s chin area (minor).
Note
The double block should try to make contact with the opponent’s right arm as soon as possible on the arc of the swing, and, at most, allow the arm to make it to the 45 degree line (7:30H).
The right elbow strike should be delivered using the hand as the pivot point, creating a flapping effect with your right arm.
Result
The double block should halt the forward momentum of the opponent’s right arm, but the opponent’s upper body and head should continue forward, and aided, by the hyperextension of the right arm. The momentum forward of the opponent’s upper body should be halted by flapping right elbow strike to the chin, while the opponent’s head should be forced up (toward 12:00V) and back (toward 10:30V), creating a whiplash effect to the opponent’s neck.
2a)
Shift your right hand (toward 1:30H) up (toward 1:30V) the opponent’s arm to the back of the opponent’s right armpit area, in preparation for the next move. Immediately, step your right foot back (toward 4:30H) into a right transitory forward bow (toward 10:30H) with the forward (toward 4:30H) and downward (toward 4:30V) pull of your right hand to the back of the opponent’s right shoulder, simultaneous with the upward (toward 1:30V) and backward (toward 12:00H) press of the opponent’s forearm (opposing forces).
Result
The opponent's body should forced to bend forward (toward 4:30H) at the waist with the right arm forced upward (toward 11:30V) and the left hand extending downward (toward 6:00V) to prevent their face from being forced into the floor.
2b)
Continuing the push-pull action of the right and left arms against the opponent’s right arm, deliver a right thrusting upward (toward 10:30V) diagonal knee kick (toward 10:30H) (opposing forces) (borrowed force) to the opponent’s chest or upper abdominal area (major).
Result
The opponent's forward (toward 4:30H) and downward (toward 4:30V) momentum should be halted by the knee kick with the left hand beginning to cover the chest area, but the right hand prevented from moving by the push-pull action of your arms.
2c)
Without any loss of motion, allow your right hand to slip off the back of the opponent’s shoulder creating and inward overhead circling (counter clockwise V) motion (on the 4:30H – 10:30H line), in preparation for the next moves. Plant your right foot forward (toward 10:30H) (gauge), settling (toward 6:00V) into a right neutral bow (toward 10:30H) simultaneous with (gravitational marriage) a right inward overhead (toward 6:00V) (toward 10:30H) elbow strike to the opponent’s middle spin area (major), while maintaining the upward pressure (pressing check) to the opponent’s right arm.
Result
The opponent’s body should be forced down (toward 6:00V), collapsing to the floor (body on the 10:30H – 4:30H line), face down (toward 6:00V).
Note
Have your left hand maintain contact with the opponent’s right arm (pressing check) allowing the arm to pass safely by your body, as the opponent collapses to the ground.
3)
Retract your right arm (toward 4:30H) into a right vertical blocking position (positioned cover) with the retraction of your left hand (toward 4:30H) to your right solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 10:30H). Cross out and cover (toward 4:30H).
