Situation
Your are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00H), while the opponent (at 6:00H) (facing 12:00H) applies single-handed wrist grabs to each of your wrists (left to left and right to right), palms forward (toward 12:00H) and fingers to the outside of your wrists (toward 3:00H right) (toward 9:00 left).
1a)
Bend both your wrists away from you (toward 6:00H) (toward 1:30V), counter-grabbing both the opponent’s wrists. Without any loss of motion, step forward with your left foot (toward 1:00H) into a right reverse bow (facing 6:00H), while simultaneously pulling your arms forward (toward 12:00H) and diagonally downward (toward 7:30V) (positioned cock) and maintaining your double counter-grab to the opponent’s wrists.
Note
The pull of your arms should be done using your shoulders as the major pivot point and the forward momentum of your body.
Tip
At no point should your hands not keep up with the forward momentum of your body and be allowed to fall behind your body.
Result
The opponent should be forced to step forward with their left foot (toward 12:00H) and bend forward (toward 10:30V) at the waist.
1b)
Without any loss of motion, rotate (clockwise H) into a right neutral bow (toward 6:00H) with a right outward elbow (toward 6:00H) (toward 1:30V), palm down (toward 6:00V), to the opponent’s face (major), while simultaneously continuing to pull forward (toward 12:00H) and diagonally downward (toward 7:30V) with your left arm (opposing forces) and maintaining the counter-grabs to both the opponent’s wrists.
Result
The opponent’s forward momentum (toward 12:00H) should halted with the head being forced backward (toward 6:00H) and up (toward 1:30V), bending at the neck, while the hands begin to attempt to cover the face area, but are prevented from doing so by the counter-grabs to the opponent’s wrists.
2a)
Shift forward (clockwise H) into a right transitory forward bow (toward 6:00H) with the pull of the opponent’s right arm diagonally downward (toward 7:30V), palm down (toward 6:00V), past your right hip (toward 10:30H) and on the outside of the opponent’s left arm (toward 9:00H).
Result
The opponent should be forced to bend further forward (toward 10:30H) at the waist, until the upper body is almost on a horizontal plane (on the 10:30H – 4:30H line), while the hands continue to attempt to cover the face area, but are prevented from doing so by the counter-grabs to both the opponent’s wrists.
2b)
Without any loss of motion from the previous move, release the grab to the opponent’s right wrist to deliver (clockwise V) an inward overhead elbow (toward 6:00V) (toward 6:00H), palm toward you (toward 12:00H), to the center of the opponent’s spin area (major), while simultaneously settling (toward 6:00V) into a right forward bow (toward 6:00H), and maintaining the grab to the opponent’s left wrist.
Result
The opponent’s upper body should be forced downward (toward 6:00V) and begin to collapse (toward 6:00V), face down.
3)
Release the left handed grab to the opponent’s left wrist as you shift (clockwise H) and raise (toward 12:00V) your left arm to the front of your body (toward 6:00H), palm toward you (toward 12:00H), to match the angle of your right arm. Immediately, deliver a double-handed heel-palm strike (toward 6:00V), palm down (toward 6:00V) to the opponent’s left kidney area (major), while simultaneously delivering a left rising (toward 12:00V) knee kick to the opponent’s abdomen area (major) (sandwich). Immediately after making contact with the opponent’s kidney area, convert your double-handed heel-palm strike into a double-handed kidney squeeze, palms down (toward 6:00V) to the opponent’s left kidney area (minor).
Result
The downward momentum of the opponent’s upper body should be slowed, if not halted (depending upon size of opponent), while both the opponent’s arms begin to attempt to cover the abdomen area.
4)
Replant (toward 12:00H), your left foot back to its original position (gauge) as you shift (counter clockwise H) backward into a right neutral bow (toward 6:00H) (positioned cover) with the retraction (toward 12:00H) of your right arm to a right vertical blocking position (positioned cover), while simultaneously retracting (toward 12:00H) your left hand to your right solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 6:00H).
Result
The opponent should collapse to the ground, face down (body on the 4:30H – 10:30H line).
5)
Cross out and cover (toward 12:00H).
