Situation
You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00V) with the opponent (at 6:00H) (facing 12:00H) applying a rear bear hug, arms free, to your lower abdominal area.
1)
Raise both of your arms (toward 10:30V) (toward 12:00H) to shoulder height, palms down (toward 7:30V), as you begin to step to your right with your right foot (toward 3:00H) into a transitional horse (facing 12:00H). Settle (toward 6:00V) into the horse (facing 12:00H) (stable base) with a double downward diagonal elbow strike (toward 4:30V) (toward 6:00H) to the top of the opponent’s forearms (minor), fists upward (toward 1:30V).
Result
The opponent’s grab should be loosened considerably and may attempt to withdraw their arms from the grab, but your elbows should prevent this from happening (double pinning checks).
2a)
Draw your left foot to your right foot (toward 3:00H) into a left, transitory 45 degree cat (facing 12:00H) as you simultaneously draw your right arm (toward 6:00H) to the right chambered position (pinning check), fist up (toward 12:00V) with your left arm (toward 3:00H) parallel across your body (pinning check), fist down (toward 6:00V) on top the right fist, in preparation for the next move.
Note
You should try to maintain contact and pressure to the opponent’s arms throughout the movement.
Result
The pin from your arms and the shifting of your body weight (toward 3:00H) should force the opponent to shift their weight onto the right leg along with your movement.
2b)
Without any lose of motion from the previous moves, circle (clockwise H) your left leg outside, behind, and to the left of the opponent’s right leg (ending toward 9:00H), toes forward (toward 12:00H), and knee bent, applying pressure to the back of the opponent’s right knee (pressing check).
Note
The above foot maneuver pattern should create a “V” step around the outside of the opponent’s right leg.
2c)
Immediately, shift to your left (counter clockwise H) into a left transitory neutral bow (toward 8:00H) with a left upward (toward 10:30V) (toward 6:00H) thrusting diagonal elbow strike to the opponent’s chin (minor), fist down (toward 7:30V) as you simultaneously raise your right arm (toward 12:00V) to your right shoulder, fist forward (toward 10:30H), in preparation for the next move.
Result
The opponent’s upper body should be thrust upward (toward 10:30V) and back (toward 4:30H) exposing the lower abdominal area.
3)
Settle (toward 6:00V) into the left forward bow (toward 9:00H) with a right downward (toward 7:30V) (toward 6:00H) thrusting diagonal hammer-fist strike, fist up (toward 10:30V) to the opponent’s groin or bladder area (major) as you draw your left arm to a left chambered position, fist up (toward 12:00V), possibly pinning the opponent’s right arm to your left side (pinning check).
Result
The opponent should collapse to the ground, face up (toward 12:00V) (body on the 10:30H-4:30H line).
4)
Raise your right foot (toward 10:30V) (toward 10:30H) as you rotate (clockwise H) your attention over your right shoulder and immediately deliver a right stomping back heel kick (toward 4:30V) (toward 4:30H) to the opponent’s right ribcage (major) or any available opening. Simultaneously with the previous moves, shift both of your arms into positioned check positions in front of your body (toward 10:30H).
Rsult
Opponent should attempt to cover their rib area with both arms.
5)
Retract your right foot (toward (10:30H) into a right cross out and cover (toward 10:30H).
