Situation
You are standing in a natural stance (facing 12:00H) with both your arms raised in the air (towards 12:00V) at approximately head height with palms facing forward (toward 12:00H), while the opponent is behind you (toward 6:00H), facing forward (toward 12:00H), with a gun in their right hand (palm facing 9:00H) pressed against your lower back area (towards 12:00H).
Note
This position is to simulate a standard "stick 'em up" situation.
1a)
Step with your left foot forward (toward 1:30H) into a right reverse bow (toward 6:00H) with a right, hammering, downward, diagonal back elbow strike (toward 4:30V) (towards 6:00H) to back of opponent's right wrist (major), while simultaneously dropping your left arm (toward 6:00V) to a left chambered position at your left side, palm facing upward (toward 12:00V).
Note
The timing of the back elbow strike should be that strike makes contact with the opponent's wrist area at the same moment your left foot plants into its final position.
Note
There is a strong possibility that the gun will fly out of the opponent's hand (toward 8:00H) (toward 4:30V), depending upon the amount of force delivered to the opponent's wrist area along with how strong of a grip the opponent has on the gun.
1b)
Rotate (clockwise H) (toward 6:00H) with a settle (6:00V) into a right neutral bow (toward 6:00H) while simultaneously allowing your right arm to slide down (toward 6:00V) the outside (toward 1:30H) of opponent's right wrist area (sliding check), concluding with a conversion into a right wrist grab, palm facing away from you (toward 7:30H) and fingers pointing upward (toward 12:00V), while your left arm remains in a chambered position, palm facing upward (toward 12:00V) at your left side, in preparation for the next move.
Result
You should end up with relative control of both opponent's wrist and gun (if they still have it).
Note
The remainder of the technique assumes the opponent still has the gun in their hand.
2a)
Left step through forward (toward 7:00H) while simultaneously executing a thrusting left, upward, diagonal (toward 1:30V) inner elbow strike (toward 7:00H) to the back (underside) of the opponent's right elbow (minor), while also maintaining the right grab to the outside of the opponent's right wrist.
Result
The strike should hyper-extend (or possibly break) the opponent's right arm at the elbow, while simultaneously forcing the opponent to rise upward in their stance (toward 12:00V) (destabilize their base) in an effort to alleviate the pressure being exerted to their right arm.
Note
In order to exert more force to the opponent's arm, simultaneously drop (toward 6:00V) your right grab in-sync with the upward pressure of the left elbow strike.
2b)
Immediately deliver a hammering, left, downward (toward 6:00V), outward (toward 6:00H), hammer-fist to opponent's groin (minor), while still maintaining the grab to the opponent's right wrist.
Result
The opponent's lower abdomen should be thrust backward (toward 6:00H), while simultaneously bending forward (toward 1:00H) at the waist (toward 6:00V), while your grip to their right wrist maintains relative control over how much their body is allowed to move.
Note
The opponent's right arm should be kept extremely close (if not touching - i.e. third hand) to your abdomen area. This strategy has many positive results. For instance, it helps to eliminate the possibility of the opponent countering with a right elbow strike or trying to escape control of their right arm and body by bending their right elbow.
2c)
Immediately, reverse the line of your hammer-fist strike, rotating (counter-clockwise V) your left arm upward (toward 12:00V), bending at the elbow, and concluding with your left, inner forearm (facing 7:30H) applying pressure (toward 7:30H) to the outside (toward 1:30H) of opponent's right elbow, palm facing to your right (toward 10:30H), while simultaneously maintaining the right grab to the opponent's right wrist.
2d)
Right step through forward (toward 7:30H) into a right forward bow (facing 7:30H) while allowing the opponent's right arm to pass along the right side (toward 9:00H) of your body. Simultaneous with the conclusion of the step through, settle into the right forward bow (facing 7:30H) with a left, downward (toward 6:00V) forearm press (facing 6:00V), palm facing 9:00H), to the back (toward 12:00V) of opponent's right elbow, while also maintaining the right grab to the opponent's right wrist.
Result
The downward pressure of your left forearm should force the opponent to rotate (counter-clockwise H) (facing 9:00H) and to bend further forward (toward 6:00V) at their waist. The rotation of the opponent's body should also transfer into a rotation (clockwise V) of their right arm, such that their right arm concludes with their right palm facing upward (toward 12:00V).
Note
The pressure to the back of the opponent's right arm should start at the beginning of the step through and continue to increase until the end of the settle into the forward bow, at which point the downward pressure should be concluded and converted into a left, downward (toward 6:00V) pressing check.
2e)
Immediately at the conclusion of the previous moves, strip (toward 1:00H) (toward 4:30V) the gun (barrel facing 4:30V) from the opponent's right hand with your right hand, palm facing downward (toward 6:00V), while simultaneously maintaining your left pressing check (toward 6:00V).
Note
At this point you may want to convert the pressing check from being applied with your forearm to being applied with your left hand, palm down (facing 6:00V), depending upon the size and position of both you and the opponent.
2f)
Immediately, reverse the line of the previous move to deliver a right, thrusting, upward (toward 1:00V) gun strike (toward 6:00H) to the bottom (toward 6:00V) of opponent's chin (major), palm facing to your left (toward 3:00H), with the handle of the gun, barrel facing downward (toward 6:00V), while simultaneously rising (toward 12:00V) upward (gravitational opposition), but still maintaining your forward bow (facing 6:00H) and your left pressing check (toward 6:00V) to the back of the opponent's right arm.
Result
Opponent's upper body and head should be thrust upward (toward 12:00V), unbending at the waist and returning to a normal stance (facing 9:00H), face pointing upward (toward 12:00V), while your left hand continues to check to make sure the opponent's body does not move beyond what you expect for the execution of the next move to be successful.
Note
If opponent previously dropped gun, the gun strike can be replaced with a right, thrusting, stiff arm, rising (toward 12:00V) back-knuckle strike, palm facing downward (toward 7:00V) to the bottom (towards 6:00V) of the opponent's chin (major). This should achieve the same result as the gun strike.
3)
Allow the strike from the previous move to pass through (toward 12:00V) the opponent's chin and rotate (clockwise V) (orbital switch) into a right, hammering, inward (toward 9:00V) gun barrel (facing 9:00V) strike (toward 3:00H), palm facing upward (toward 12:00V) to the opponent's sternum (major), while simultaneously rotating (counter-clockwise H) and settling (toward 6:00V) into a right neutral bow (facing 6:00H), while also maintaining your left check, palm facing forward (toward 6:00H), at you left sternum area.
Note
The rotation and settle of your stance should be timed with the strike in order to maximize it's delivery (confluence of forces).
Your left hand should now allow the opponent's body to move freely, but maintain a positional check.
Result
Opponent's entire body should be forced backward (toward 3:00H) and begin to collapse (toward 6:00V), face up (toward 12:00V), onto the floor (on a 3:00H / 9:00H line).
4)
Cover out (toward 1:30H) while simultaneously re-gripping the gun such that the barrel is continually pointed at your opponent at all times (and shot if necessary).
