Situation
You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with your left arm at your side (toward 6:00H), while the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H) pins your right hand to their chest area with both hands.
1)
Step forward (toward 12:00H) with your right foot into a right transitory neutral bow (toward 12:00H) (stabile base) with the raise (toward 1:00V) of your left hand (upper hand) to pin (toward 12:00H) both the opponent’s hands to your right hand (pressing check), palm away from you (toward 12:00H), with the collapse (bending at the elbow) of your right elbow to deliver a right thrusting forward elbow (toward 12:00H) to the opponent’s abdomen area (minor).
Note
The forward momentum of your stance change should be used to provide the path of travel for your elbow strike.
Result
The opponent's upper body should bend forward (toward 6:00H) slightly, at the waist, but is regulated by the press of your left hand to their chest.
2)
Immediately, settle (toward 6:00V) into a right wide kneel (toward 12:00H) as you simultaneously deliver a right raking downward (toward 6:00V) claw, palm away from you (toward 12:00H), down the opponent’s body (minor), while maintaining your other defenses (pressing check) (positioned cover).
Note
Targets for the downward claw include both the abdomen and groin.
The downward momentum of your right hand should continue straight down (toward 6:00V), to approximately shin height (toward 7:30V), and not arch away from the opponent.
Result
The opponent should begin to attempt to cover the groin or lower abdomen area, but prevented from doing so by the pin of your left hand (pressing check).
3)
Reverse the path of travel of your right hand to deliver a right thrusting upward (toward 12:00V) ridge-hand to the opponent’s groin (major), palm to your left (toward 9:00H), while maintaining your other defenses (pressing check) (positioned cover).
Result
The opponent should continue to attempt to cover the groin or bend over at the waist, but still be prevented from doing so by the pin of your left hand (pressing check).
4)
Reverse the path of travel of your right hand, dropping it to knee height (toward 6:00V), then immediately, without any loss of motion (orbital switch), deliver a right thrusting outward back-knuckle (toward 3:00H) to the inside of the opponent’s left knee cap (minor), while maintaining your other defenses (pressing check) (positioned cover).
Note
The outward momentum of your right hand should continue straight to the right (toward 3:00V) and not arch away from the opponent.
Result
The opponent should begin to collapse to the ground (toward 6:00V) and attempt to cover the knee area with both hands, but still be prevented from doing so by the pin of your left hand (pressing check).
5)
Reverse the path of travel of your right hand to deliver a right thrusting inward punch (toward 9:00H) to the inside of the opponent’s right knee cap (minor), while maintaining your other defenses (pressing check) (positioned cover).
Note
The inward momentum of your right hand should continue straight to the right (toward 9:00V) and not arch away from the opponent.
Result
The opponent should continue to collapse to the ground (toward 6:00V) and attempting to cover the knee areas with both hands, but still be prevented from doing so by the pin of your left hand (pressing check).
6)
Rise into a right neutral bow (toward 12:00H) as you retract (toward 6:00H) your right arm to a right vertical blocking position (positioned cover), while simultaneously retracting your left hand (toward 6:00H) to your right solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 12:00H).
Result
The opponent should completely collapse to the ground (toward 6:00V).
7)
Cross out and cover (toward 7:30H).
