Ideal Execution

Written Illustration:

Situation

You are in a normal stance (facing 12:00H) with both of your arms at your side (toward 6:00V) with the opponent (at 12:00H) (facing 6:00H), attempting to applying a front, two-hand choke to your throat area.

1a)

Clasp you hands together, palms facing each other (twoard 7:30H - toward 1:30h) - knuckles diagonaly upward (toward 10:30V - toward 1:30V), in front of your solar plexus area, in preparation for the next move.

Note

Do not clasp your hands with fingers interlaced.

1b)

Without any loss of motion, step your right foot forward (toward 12:00H) (gauge) (positioned cover) into a transitory right forward bow (facing 12:00H) with a double, thrusting, upward (toward 12:00V), forearm wedge (toward 12:00H), to both the opponent’s forearms (minor).

Note

Your right foot should end up between the opponent’s feet (positioned cover), but not beyond the opponent’s heels.

Result

The choke should be broken with the opponent's arms being forced upward (toward 12:00V);
1c) Continuing without any loss of motion, rotate (counter-clockwise H) into a right horse stance (facing 12:00H) with a right upward elbow (toward 12:00V) to the opponent's chin (major).

Note

This strike can be optional, depending upon the position of the opponent after the wedge.

Result

The opponent’s head and upper body should be forced backward (toward 12:00H) (toward 1:00V) and both arms wedged apart (right on the 1:30H – 7:30H line) (left on the 10:30H – 4:30H line) at the inner forearms.

Note

The final position of you wedge should end with clasped hands directly above your head (toward 12:00H) (positioned cock) (line of sight), and both elbows pointing diagonally, downward (toward 4:30V - toward 7:30V) on a 6:00H-12:00H line.

2)

With the opponent's head returning from the previous strike, reverse the motion of your right elbow, delivering a right, hammering, downward elbow (toward 5:00V) (toward 12:00H) to the opponent's sternum (major), with a settle (toward 6:00V) into your horse stance (facing 12:00H) (directional harmony).

Note

Your hands should remain clasped with your left hand / arm aiding in the execution of the elbow strike, by adding more mass and power to the strike.

Result

The opponent's body should be forced downward (toward 6:00V) settling into their stance, but returning to a vertical standing position (on a 12:00V-6:00V line) (facing 6:00H).

3a)

Without any loss of motion, unclasp your hands, to deliver a right, hammering, outward (toward 12:00H0, downward (toward 6:00V) back-knuckle strike to the opponent's bridge-of-nose (major), while simultaneously maintaining the position of your left open hand (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 12:00H), in preparation for the next move.

3b)

Continuting from the previous motion, shift forward (clockwise H) (toward 12:00H) into a right forward bow (facing 12:00H) with a left, hammering, downward (toward 6:00V) heel-palm claw (toward 12:00H), palm facing opponent (toward 12:00V), to the opponent's bridge-of-nose (minor), while your right hand continues it's downward decent (toward 6:00V), in preparation its next move (positioned cock).

Result

The opponent's head should be forced downward (toward 6:00V) bending at the neck, with the body being further forced downward (toward 6:00V), settling into their stance.

4a)

Reverse the motion of your left hand, delivering a left, thrusting, straight four-finger poke (toward 12:00H) to the opponent's eyes (minor).

Result

The opponent's head should be forced backward (toward 12:00H), exposing the neck area (target availability).

4b)

Immediately, shift (counter-clockwise H) into a right neutral bow with a right thrusting, upward, diagonal (toward 1:30V), inverted, half-knuckle (toward 12:00H) to the opponent's throat area (major), palm up (toward 12:00V), with the retraction (toward 7:30V) (toward 6:00H) of your left hand to your right solar plexus (positioned cover), palm forward (toward 12:00H).

Result

The opponent's upper body should be forced backward (toward 12:00H), collapsing to the ground (toward 6:00V), face up (toward 12:00V).

5)

Retract (toward 7:30V) (toward 6:00H) your right arm to a vertical blocking position (positioned cover), while maintaining your other defenses (positioned cover).  Cross out and cover (toward 6:00H).
