There are a number of common execution problems that are encountered during the execution of Short Form Two. Generally an experienced instructor gathers this information over a long period of time, teaching the form over and over again to a large number of students. Each of these issues arise for a number of reasons, including: lack of knowledge, lack of experience, lack of practice, incorrectly taught, incorrectly remembered, and personal idiosyncrasies. Regardless of its origin, each of these issues fall into one of three categories:
1) movements that the practitioner were not aware they are doing and were never corrected
2) movements that the practitioner are aware of and currently working on to correct
3) movements that the practitioner are aware of and not motivated (for whatever reason) to correct
Areas to discuss:
inward blocks not to 45 degrees
hand-sword elbow unanchored
over rotation of horse
upward block hand in middle-knuckle
heel-palm to inward block not following straight path
